This department in Mahavir Cancer Sansthan is managed by Consultant Dr. Madhukar Dayal,MBBS,Md(AIIMS),DNB and Dr.Suman kr Verma,MBBS,DNB(Tr. Apollo Hopital,Bengaluru).
The available facilities in the department at present are 16 slices high end C.T. machine of of G.E.make, a G.E make PET  Scan system with 16 slice C.T. machine in it beside the all purpose 500 MA X-Ray machine along with portable High Power Rotating anode X-Ray machine of Allegers company.
The department is also having a Mammomat 1000 Mammography machine of Siemens make for performing mammography for breast radiography along with a OPG machine of Alleger make for performing all types of OPG for dental patients.
The PET scan which is newly commissioned is being looked after by Dr. Ravishwar Narayan,DNB,Consultant  Nuclear Medicine.
The C.T. scan +pet scan takes care of the main investigative needs of cancer patients of Sansthan along with referred patient from outside our institution.
The institution having multiple ultrasound machine of different make for taking care of the needs of patients of all types besides our cancer and referred patient from outside of our institution.
The department is continuously upgrading and adding new machines to cater the needs ailing humanity, specially the cancer patient of all hue and strota.
